Cecil is a 1985 graduate of the University of MD (go Terps!) with a degree in Economics & Human Resources. When the snow is gone, Cecil enjoys golf & bass fishing.   Goody Dwyer

Goody Dwyer

Ski Vacation Specialist

Vermont Office

Goody is in her 3rd season with Tours de Sport during the 07-08 ski season. She learned how to ski in Toggenburg while attending college in Upstate New York & moved to Vermont a few years later to continue skiing (and work). She will be celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary with her husband Chip, a ski/golf pro in Killington, in 2008. Her boys are very avid skiers and her oldest son will be spending his winter in Jackson Hole. They also enjoy hiking, kayaking and golfing during the summer.

  Lance Cygielman

Director of Skiing, Product Testing and Customer Satisfaction

Ski Organizers Office

  • Experience in the Ski Travel Business: 27 YEARS, fortunate enough to have skied all over the world.
  • My best ski day was: Way too many to narrow it down to just one. Living in Jackson Hole makes me a very very lucky and a very spoiled boy. I must admit the entire season on 07/08 was pretty epic, Or the day the attached photo was shot- Friday after Thanksgiving in Snowbird Utah several years ago, or the numerous chest deep powder days at CMH Monashee’s. Any day on the slopes should be a good day.

  Michael Boike

Ski Vacation Specialist

Ski Organizers Office

  • Experience in the Ski Travel Business: 15 Years
  • Best Tip for the Perfect Ski Vacation: Ski in late January or early February. The snow is falling, the slopes are uncrowded, and the condos offer great prices!
  • Favorite Ski Resort: Fernie, BC
  • My best ski day was: The Greatest Snow on earth at Solitude, Utah. Over 2 feet of snow, just a few people to share it with, and the whole day to enjoy it.

  Julie Stepniewski

Ski Vacation Specialist

Ski Organizers Office

  • Experience in the Ski Travel Business: 11 Years --- 5 years at the Sheraton in Steamboat and 6 years as a Tour Operator.
  • My best ski day was: There is no way to say how many wonderful days of skiing I have had! Aspen Highlands on Highlands Bowl with gobs of fresh powder, Big Wednesday in Steamboat, Sunshine at Banff, Hobacks at Jackson Hole… Thank you sir, may I have another! Ohhhh, and by the way, the snow melts in May and June so I get another epic day kayaking that wonderful snow that has now turned into whitewater!!

  Ed Holofcener
Ed

President

Baltimore, MD / West Palm Beach, FL

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Ed was practically born with a pair of skis on his feet (see pix, age 2). Married for over 25 years, with 2 kids (1 in college, 1 in law school). He and his wife, Janine, have been “empty-nesters” since 2007. He still loves to ski and snowboard (even though his wife is not really a “cold weather” person) so starting in 2009, they will now elude the cold weather by living in West Palm Beach, FL for ½ the year. He and his brother Rick own Tours de Sport which got its start in 1982. They also own Golf Zoo, one of the largest golf travel companies in the US, founded in 2001. Ed has been in the ski travel industry for over 20 years.

  Rick Holofcener
Goody

Chiang Mai, Thailand Office

Rick, a serial entrepreneur, has started many travel related businesses since 1982 including Tours de Sport, Golf Zoo, EasyRes Technologies, and ResLogic. His 25+ years experience operating leisure travel companies coupled with his experience creating reservation systems and online booking engines for the travel industry has helped keep their travel businesses on the cutting edge. Rick is currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand with his wife and 2 daughters and enjoys playing golf as often as possible.

  Jean Kmiec
Jean

Financial Manager

Baltimore Office

Born and raised in Baltimore, Jean's attempts at skiing revolved around the Annual "Spider" Sabich Memorial Ski Club trek to Seven Springs. That lasted about 4 years and then it was time for a new sport and a new boyfriend. Started with Tours de Sport in 2001 as the Financial and Personnel Manager and she has stayed safely behind her desk ever since.

  Chad Orton
Chad

eMarketing Manager

Baltimore Office

Chad has lived in Upstate NY for most of his life, so he knows all about winter weather and has shoveled his fair share of snow in his day. After graduating from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Marketing, he moved "south" to the Baltimore area. Due to his interest in marketing & computers, he joined the Tours de Sport team in 2004 as the eMarketing Manager and finds online marketing very enjoyable. A new dad, he also enjoys spending time with his daughter and family when away from work.

  Kris Jordan
Kris

Operations Manager

Baltimore Office

Born and raised outside of Washington, DC. In 1999 she graduated from Shepherd University with a degree in Business. She moved to Baltimore in 2003 to marry her high school sweetheart and join the Tours de Sport team. She had skied every few years as a child but caught the snowboard bug 10 years ago. Her goal is to make it down the slopes without falling one day. For now she will continue to try and enjoy watching the professionals on TV.

  Nate Hunter
Nate

Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

Baltimore Office

A Baltimore native and Towson University graduate; Nate started at Tours de Sport as a lowly intern in 2005. His impressive work and design/business background subsequently led to a cushy full-time position. When not meeting impossible deadlines at work, Nate likes to spend his time enjoying good food, art, music, women, women, nature and preferably… more women. Hallelujah.

  Craig Lipinski
Craig

Operations Assistant

Baltimore Office

Craig spent his entire life in the Baltimore area, currently residing in Towson. He is a recent graduate of Towson University, earning a degree in Marketing. In January 2008, he started at Tours de Sport as a Marketing Assistant Intern and most recently has been working in the Operations Department as the Operations Assistant. In his free time, he enjoys jamming on his guitar to his favorite music.

  Marty Jones
Marty

Operations Assistant

Baltimore Office

Marty started with Tours de Sport in July 2007. She had a bruising one-time-only ski experience and didn’t much like the facial icicles. Her only knowledge of golf was learning to use the ball cleaner, being a caddy once or twice and volunteering at fundraisers driving the snack and beverage cart.

She has been providing customer service to a wide variety of clientele in the tourism industry for many years; The National Aquarium, The Baltimore Opera and Norwegian Cruise Lines to name a few.

Marty is the “Go To” person our Winter Weekend Getaway VIP’s want to speak with when planning a successful trip for their guests.

  Snowy
Snowy

Mascot

Baltimore Office

Snowy started with Tours de Sport in 2005 and has learned a lot in the time she has been here. She takes great pride in working here and is very eager to come to work each day. She has kept the office a “cat-free” environment during her tenure here. She has lived in the Baltimore area her whole life and is very familiar with the lay of the land. She does not ski but has been known to chase the occasional stuffed animal.

R.I.P. 1995 – 2009.
